çavaria vzw is a movement, an advocacy organisation and a centre of expertise. In order to efficiently organise the broad range of activities that fall under its operations, çavaria vzw integrates several operations and non-profit organisations in one single organisation. ZIZO is its magazine, Lumi vzw is its info and listening line and KLIQ vzw is its training and advice centre.
KLIQ vzw and Prisme asbl are currently cooperating on a project with Fedasil titled“Safer spaces for LGBTQIA+ asylum seekers”. The project focuses on the structural vulnerabilities of LGBTQIA+ people in the Belgian reception centres, with the following two main objectives: providing professionals working in the reception centres with expertise and tools to be LGBTQIA+ inclusive and improving attitudes of fellow residents toward LGBTQIA+ persons.
