Ex Aequo

Ex Aequo is anon-profit organisation that has been operating since 1994 with the aim of promoting health and reducing the incidence of new sexually transmitted infections (STIs) among men who have sex with men (MSM). It serves as a gathering place for MSM in the fight against HIV/AIDS and STIs and is currently active in Wallonia and Brussels as a community association:

• Ex Aequo offers screenings in which individuals can get tested for:

- HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis C for free, anonymously, and immediately in their offices in Brussels and Wallonia but also in community places (parties, saunas, etc.)    

- All sexually transmitted infections for free at their offices in Brussels for free, confidentially, and completely screening for all sexually transmitted infection in Brussels offices Helps individuals schedule appointments for a comprehensive STI checkup with their MSM-friendly partners also provides guidance and support throughout an individual's journey with PrEP.

• Refers individuals to physicians who are both MSM-friendly and HIV-friendly
• Offers information and guidance and will redirect individuals who have questions or concerns about drug use
• Provides support and accompanies individuals who do not have access to medical coverage, such as CPAS, Fedasil, European health insurance card, and so on.
• Offers the convenience of sending HIV self-tests and materials aimed at reducing the risk of sexually transmitted infections, as well as those related to sexuality and psychoactive product use, directly to an individual's home.
