The L-week is an annual festival that takes place in September, organised by volunteers from "Het Roze Huis Antwerp - çavaria Antwerp". It is specifically designed for lesbian, bisexual, queer, trans* women and non-binary individuals who identify as 'lesBian'.
The festival offers a diverse program every year that includes activities for leisure and socializing (sports activities film screenings, cooking) and education (workshops, lectures). Educational events also include debates on queer women in media, menstruation-poverty, educational games on elderly people, a workshop about mental health, and more.
The festival is highly committed to being inclusive and takes measures such as educating volunteers, providing low-cost options for participants, offering accommodations, and support for neurodiverse individuals and so on. Additionally, they serve as a platform for other organisations, collaborating with different lesbian, bi and trans groups to build a network and promote their activities.
